USR Cares is here when you need us.
USR Cares was established in 2017 as a community resource organization to assist residents experiencing a temporary or potentially longer-term crisis. Our team of compassionate volunteers possesses a wide range of expertise and provides Upper Saddle River residents in crisis with resources, financial assistance, companionship, meals, and other forms of support as needed.
One phone call or email to us from the person or family in crisis is all it takes for us to confidentially assess the situation and determine the level of need and support we can provide.

Fundraising Committee
Each year we host our annual community fundraiser, Oktoberfest in years past and USR Day beginning in 2024. The event occurs in Upper Saddle River’s Lions Park. We are extremely thankful for the sponsors who support this event, greatly enhancing our ability to provide resources and support to residents facing a crisis and to expand our seniors-related initiatives and programs. We also welcome exhibitors and food vendors who help to make this a wonderful event each year.
We host smaller fundraisers and gatherings throughout the year. Keep an eye out for formation about April and June 2024 events. These will be reflected on our calendar in April 2024.
