Support For Neighbors In Need

USR CARES

In 2015, a tragedy occurred in our town. Two children who were faced with their mother being diagnosed with a terminal illness, suddenly lost their father. It was clear the community needed to step inane support this family. Daily home-cooked meals, tutors when needed, school lunches, plowing & shoveling, pool care, and most needed- rides into the city for treatment each week,.This all needed to be quickly organized, and done without chaos.. The support came entirely from USR residents who wanted to volunteer. This incredible relief allowed the family to experience a better quality of life at this tragic time. For this reason, USR Cares was formed. The organization was created in memory of this loving mother.
The organization was created in memory of this loving mother, daughter, friend and neighbor.

“USR Cares is unlike any organization I have had the honor to be involved with. By assembling the leaders of various town-wide organizations, USR Cares has established unity in our community in order to achieve one common goal – to help residents in their most difficult times.”

– Noba Ebaid, President, USRFD
